New Season to Commence...

The Club will resume play on Monday 7th September at 9.30pm in Boyle Sports Complex. Club nights will remain Mondays from 9.30pm - 11.30pm and Thursdays from 9pm to 11pm.

New members will be very welcome and we're hoping to be able to offer some coaching to anyone who would like to learn the basics or refreshers for those who haven't taken up their racquets for some time!

Looking forward to seeing all the familiar faces and hopefully some new ones too!

  1. I was just wondering about joining the club, but haven't play in about 20yrs. Do you need to have your own racket? What is the cost and can you just play for fun and fitness or is there a strong competition focus? And do you have to commit to both nights? Regards Mel

  2. Hi Wendy, thank you for your post. We'd be delighted to see you in the club, I'm sure you'll still have the bug even if it's been a few years! It is preferable to have your own racquet but if this is not possible a racquet can be made available. The nightly cost is €5 and if you enjoy it and decide to stick with it the membership for the season will be €50. While there are three competitive teams in the club there are a number of members who just come in to play for fun and there will be an emphasis on fun & fitness this year. Coaching will be provided for anyone who wishes to avail of it. No commitment is required so just come along when you can and enjoy the craic!
    Best Regards
