There will be no Juvenile Badminton Coaching on Sunday February 24th.

Emergency First Aid Training

There will be a 1 day course on Emergency First Aid training for our club members on Saturday 23rd February in the meeting room in Boyle Sports Complex. Maximum number of participants is 12. Details of Course as follows:

Emergency First Aid

Accreditation:             Nolan Health & Safety Certificate of Attendance plus Heart Saver AED Certificate

Course duration:         1 day

Start time:                   09.30

Finish time:                 18.00

Total hours:                 8.5 hours        

Assessment:                Competency in practical assessments

Both adult and paediatric patients are covered.

1.             First Aid in the workplace/Accident scene management

2.             Patient assessment

3.             Altered level of consciousness

4.             Muscle/skeletal injuries

5.             Wounds and haemorrhaging

6.             Burns and scalds

7.             Heart Saver AED programme

Juvenile Training

Training continues on Sunday for Juveniles from 4-5pm.

League Matches

Good luck to our G Team who play Four Roads at home tonight. Our H team and Mixed Novice team have a busy week ahead, H playing at Home on Monday night 18th to Ballygar and Away to Four Roads on Thursday night 21st. Novices are Away to Kilteevan on Tuesday night 19th, and Home to Castlecoote on Thursday night 21st. Good luck to all!

Good luck to the Boyle Grade F team who play Strokestown tomorrow night feb 4th in Boyle. Also to our Grade G team who play Ballinaheglish on Thursday night at home also.
